It is a nicely written book. Pip investigates a murder that happened 5 years ago as she believes the police booked the wrong person. The novel follows her investigation and just like one of Christie’s books a series of expected/unexpected events shape the narrative. The book is so much fun to read as it is funny and happy. If you want to give yourself a break from dark thrillers, this is the book!
For those who love small town murder mysteries, go for it. I have read like a 50 murder mysteries in past 2 years and this one clearly stands out. I have found out my new favorite mystery novel author, Holly Jackson this year other than Lisa Jewell.
